Depending on your business level, your plans will differ. I’ll give you a quick explanation of the different plans.
Amazon Individual Seller
If you own a small-scale business and sell less than 40 items, then you can sign up with Amazon Individual seller. It costs just $ 0.99 per sale.
Amazon Professional Seller
If you are willing to sell more than 40 items per month you will have to sign up with an Amazon Professional Seller account.
It costs $ 39.99 per month as a subscription fee and an additional transaction fee on each sale.
If you are the manufacturer of the products, then you can take up this plan and sell the products as a wholesale business to amazon.
An added advantage in this plan is, Amazon will take care of your product listing, fulfillment, and shipping of the products. If they run out of stock they order more.
Things to get ready before creating a Seller Account :
Business email address or Amazon customer account
Chargeable credit card
Government ID (identity verification protects sellers and customers)
A bank account where Amazon can send you proceeds from your sales

Know the details you need, to create Seller Central Account :
After choosing your plan, Amazon will request the following details to set up your seller account.
1. Business name :
This is the business name that will be visible to the customers at Amazon’s Marketplace.
2. Legal Name and Address :
This information is completely hidden and stored only in your account by Amazon for its reference.
If you have a registered business entity, or a fictitious business name or DBA, you should use the exact name and address under which you’re registered.
3. Contact Information :
Be cautious while filling this part. Provide your contact details that are available 24/7.
Because Amazon will use your contact information to send order notifications, guarantee claim notifications, service and technical updates to you.
And the customers will reach you for any queries through your customer contact information.
Providing the same contact for both, or separate contacts for Amazon, and the customers is of your own choice.
4. Shipping details:
You should select the regions to which you are willing to ship the products, and indicate whether you can offer expedited shipping.
5. Marketplace :
You will have to mention the marketplace where you are willing to sell your products.
6. Billing details :
To ensure, only potential sellers are selling on Amazon, it verifies your credit card details too. You have to mention the number of your credit card, its expiry date, and the name that appears on the card.
